A small business find - Brave Yoga

A small business find, reviewed by LB, Owner of Off Camber Produkshuns.

Unlike our last few reviews, I knew exactly what I needed to wear this time! A few days ago I had the pleasure of meeting yet another business woman who offers an amazing service.

Brave Yoga for All is an adaptive approach to applying Yoga to create balance of the mind and of the body. Our unique, low-pressure, customized programs make it accessible to anyone and everyone.

Lisa, the owner of Brave Yoga for all, started as an occupational therapist for individuals with autism. Back in 2014 she was taking personal classes outside of work and ended up finding a new love for yoga!

The more she would attend her class the more she fell in love with yoga. She started to notice how her mood would change and how relaxed she felt after each visit. With her individuals in mind and knowing how great she felt, she just knew she needed to introduce yoga into her occupational therapy (O.T.) routines.

Being an O.T, Lisa was able to modify the way yoga is currently instructed to help anyone with any cognitive limitations be able to enjoy the same relaxing, mood changing benefits of this mind-body exercise.

Yoga should be available to everybody. -Lisa Irvine.

Before I sat down with Lisa, I had the opportunity to join one of her classes and follow along with the movements and motions. The class was held over zoom and done in the comfort of my own Livingroom! Of course I had my side kick and one of my favorite small businesses right along my side with me. That's right, Ali Mac Marketing came over with her yoga mats and ready to start moving!

I, like many people, have tried to stick to a healthy workout routine and have failed many, many times!

Yoga is that one activity that no matter where I am, who I'm with, or what skill level I'm trying to follow I always seem to have a great time.

Following Lisa's class was no different. Ali and I were smiling, laughing, and really feeling the burn!

Lisa's class was not and is not made for people that are not on the spectrum. However, she has a goal of reaching more and more participants by training and teaching future yogi instructors her routines.

All in all this business exactly what this world needs more of! Without a doubt, Lisa and Brave Yoga for All deserve 5 stars for all she does.
