The Blissful Tea party is a magical event where you are transported to a place of elegance and grace.
You read that right, ya girl got an invite to a Royal Tea party hosted by The Blissful tea party.
Now let me say this. I am a person who wears nothing but skinny jeans and her Off Camber Produkshuns hoodie, paired with black and white DC shoes and a backwards hat. I am definitely not your casual tea party attendee.
When my friend Ali, from Ali Mac Marketing reached out to me and invited me to a tea party, I was utterly surprised. The first thing I thought was "What the hell do I wear to a ROYAL tea party?"
I was a little nervous to go because I did not know what to expect. I'm a very shy person from the start and stepping out of my comfort zone isn't something I am too great at. But am I glad I did.
As I got to the venue I saw very well dressed people walking around, smiling, laughing, and just simply enjoying themselves! When the doors opened to the venue I saw nothing but bright neutral regal décor, wonderful live music playing from local musicians, and chatter that filled the room.
I was sat down at table 8 with 2 friends of mine Ali, Nick, and his family.
They were all dressed to impress and passing around a 3 tier gold platter filled with different pastries and finger foods.
The top tier had Tea Cakes made by
Un Toque
Second Tier had delicious Scones made by Saramani's Artisan
Third Tier being my personal favorite Tea Sandwiches made by Un Toque.
Next was served the desserts!
Cake shooters are probably the cutest thing I have seen. Both delicious and memorable! There were 3 flavors served, Chocolate, Vanilla, and Strawberry! I had the straw berry while Ali enjoyed the vanilla. Served by Dipped by Ary.
Right after the cake shooters where served we were handed Chocolate covered OREOS! I don't know why I have never had these but they are now my top 5 favorite dessert! Served by Bri's Sweet Treats.
You can't have a tea party without having hot tea! The tea was served by Nepali Tea Traders! There were additional refreshments served such as specialty teas, coffee, juices and a champagne bar!
Meeting the owner of The Blissful Tea Party was an honor. Heather has a very contagious energy and is a superior host.
She not only hosted and put together a beautiful Royal holiday party, she has a special charm to entice people to get dressed up and come together as a community on a Saturday afternoon!
That takes some serious planning!
I highly recommend contacting Heather and The Blissful Tea Party for any event planning! I know I'll be keeping her number close!
My overall experience was enjoyable! I am so glad I stepped out of my comfort zone to experience something new. I wore a red dress with a lace front but kept it my style with my biker jacket and black leggings for warmth underneath!
If I were to rate this small business find Heather and her Blissful Tea Parties definitely deserve 5 out of 5 stars!
