As I can't speak for every boudoir photographer, I can explain why our boudoir service is considered a luxury. From the moment you contact me for a session, I am all about YOU.
I have been a hobby photographer for a little over a decade and I confidently say boudoir photography strictly focuses on the client before the photo. Where as most other genera's of photography will focus on the photo before the client.
From the second you send over a contact sheet for a session I want to know everything about you, why you are booking, your favorite colors, textures, styles and even what your favorite song is! I devote so much time getting to know you before your session to ensure you can be as comfortable as possible!
Building this relationship will not only help you feel more at ease during your session, but it will also help me know you on a bit more personal level to make sure your session shows exactly who you are within. I even go as far as in person consultations to see the studio, try on lingerie, and meet the team! You are also given guides to help prepare yourself mentally and physically before being so vulnerable in front of the camera.
Every woman deserves to feel extravagant. That's why included in the session is a makeup artist and a hairstylist. The morning of your boudoir photoshoot is already filled with nerves. Don't let your shaky hands make eyeliner ruin your look! Our trusted artists will have you glowing in natural beauty or glammed and ready for the red carpet - the choice is yours.
With the endless amount of support and encouragement from myself and even our beauty team, you will be walking in a world of confidence and empowerment before the session is completed.
Most would assume that the session starts with hair and makeup. Many would be right, if they weren't booking with The Boudoir Room.
Along with hair and makeup being inclusive to your session, you may enjoy a complimentary facial before your session to keep your skin glowing, or after your session to remove any makeup (great for hiding any surprise gifts for that special person).
The pampering doesn't end there, at the end of your session before you change into your everyday clothes our massage therapist will be waiting for you with relaxing music and smell good aroma therapy. After 2 hours of boudoir posing you will ready for a 45 minuet full body massage.
Boudoir sessions are considered luxury because it is an experience that has the ability to change lives. These photoshoots give women the space to express themselves and give them the okay to accept and love themselves. While you are receiving your full body massage to help you wind down, I will be getting your photos ready for viewing. Before you leave my studio on the day of the session, you
will have seen all of your photos and be able to choose your favorites! After seeing your images we can go over any products and album samples that you may have interest in.
